Sydney Lee
Sydney Lee is from Saratoga Springs, Utah. She began her ballet training at Jacqueline's School of Ballet at the age of 5. In 2021, Sydney joined UMB2 and was invited to become a trainee with Utah Metropolitan Ballet in 2023 and an apprentice in 2024. She is honored to be a contracted company member for the 2025-2026 season.
She has competed in the Youth America Grand Prix, consistently placing in the top twelve in both classical and contemporary categories from 2020-2023. In 2021, she won 2nd place in the Junior Classical division at the Denver semi-final, earning an invitation to the finals in Tampa, FL. In 2023, Sydney placed 1st in the Senior Classical Division at the Salt Lake City semi-final and was invited to compete in the YAGP Tampa final, where she won a full-year scholarship to train at Oklahoma City Ballet.

During the summer of 2024, Sydney toured Austria with the Stars of Tomorrow Young Tanzommer Festival as a member of UMB2, performing the Flames of Paris pas de deux and other contemporary works.

Sydney's favorite roles include Clara and Snow Queen in Jacqueline Colledge's Nutcracker, Russian Demi in Balanchine’s Serenade, and Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.
