The Free performance for Families Affected by Autism is by far Utah Metropolitan Ballet's favorite outreach program. The dancers have expressed that when they hear the excited outbursts of the children during these special performances, it energizes them, causing a more elevated performance. They love this heartfelt interaction with the audience. We have had hundreds of messages and cards from parents and children, who have never been able to come to a professional live performance as a family, expressing their profound appreciation for the beautiful experience they were able to have together. Each year we realize more and more the vital role that this live art form plays in the overall health and well-being of our community.
