Parker Niksich
Parker Brenden Niksich was born and raised in Dallas Texas. This is his second year dancing with UMB.He began his career in performing at the age of six with acting,singing and modeling. He attended Booker T Washington High-school’s Dance conservatory where he began his formal dance training.
He was also a trainee with Avant Chamber Ballet under the direction of Katie Puder. After graduating High school,Parker moved to New York City to train at Ballet Academy East. While attending BAE he study under the tutelage of Stacy Calvert. He was named the David Howard Scholar for the 2023-2024 school year as well as being selected to be a choreographer and learn from Matthew Neenan in the BAE Choreographic Workshop.
He has attended summer courses at San Francisco Ballet, ABT, Nashville Ballet, Ballet Met, and Ballet West all on scholarship. Featured Roles include Dark Angel Male in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Principal Male in George Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie, Spanish in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, Prince in Rodger Van Fleeter Cinderella, Principal Male in Alan Hineline’s San Souci.
