UMB is looking to cast dancers ages 7 – 18. Girls 7 years and older must have a minimum of 1 year of dance training to audition. Girls over 5’ must have a minimum of 3 years ballet training. Dancers 7 years and older must register in person to be assigned an audition time. Dancers do not need to wear dance clothing to be measured. Please note that pre-registration ends September 16th.

The auditions this year are open to all students in the area, not just JSB students. Not every student that auditions will be selected. Dancers will be judged according to height and ability for the roles needed. We encourage all students to audition as it will help them to know what to expect as they audition for things throughout their dance life.

You are welcome to reach out to other students you may know who would like the opportunity to audition.

Those dancers in Utah Metropolitan Ballet II must also pre-register.
