Step into the early nineteenth century for an evening of romance, music, and dance. You are warmly invited to the Valentine Ball, presented by Utah Metropolitan Ballet at the enchanting Wadley Farms Castle, where the candlelight, the manners, and the dancing all belong to another age.
This is an evening to dress for. Guests are invited to arrive in Regency attire, empire waists and long gloves, tailcoats and cravats, or simply your most elegant formalwear if a costume is not in reach. Half the magic of the night is walking into a ballroom where everyone has committed to it.
You will not need to know the steps. Our dancers will teach you the line dances of the period on the floor itself, the same figures danced in ballrooms two centuries ago, where couples move down the line, partners change, and the whole room ends up dancing together.…
