Taylor Fikes

Taylor Fikes of Columbia, Maryland, has trained with the Kirov Academy of Ballet of Washington, D.C., the Bolshoi Academy of Ballet in Moscow, Russia, and the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago. She has had an extensive ballet career both here in the U.S. and abroad. Taylor started her career with the Atlanta Ballet and has gone on to dance in NY, Munich, and Romania, performing diverse repertoire such as Swan Lake, Serenade, Ohad Naharin’s Minus 16, and Carmina Burana.

In addition to performing professionally Fikes is a mentor to several young ballerinas, helping them navigate the bridge from student to professional and coaching technique. Taylor transitioned back to America joining Ballet West and later moved to Chrysalis Ballet. She is excited to join Utah Metropolitan Ballet this season.
