
Sydney Lee
Sydney Lee is from Saratoga Springs, Utah. She began her ballet training at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet at the age of 5. Sydney joined Utah Metropolitan Ballet in 2023 as a Trainee, was promoted to Apprentice in 2024, Artist in 2025 and Solo Artist in 2026.
Sydney has competed in Youth America Grand Prix and has consistently earned awards in the semi-finals including 2nd place in the Junior Division and 1st place in the Senior Division where she earned invitations to the finals in Tampa, FL.
During the summer of 2024, Sydney toured Austria with the Stars of Tomorrow Young Tanzommer Festival performing the Flames of Paris pas de deux and other contemporary works. Also during 2024 she attended the European School of Ballet summer program where she experienced Dawson and Forsythe technique and choreography.
Sydney’s favorite roles include Snow Queen and Sugarplum Fairy in Jacqueline Colledge’s Nutcracker, Russian Demi in Balanchine’s Serenade, and Peasant Pas de deux from Gisselle.
