Joy Sizemore

Joy Sizemore began her training at the age of five under Joan Shelton and Anna Glushko. She underwent further training at Canada's National Ballet School, Houston Ballet Academy, and the Vaganova Academy, where she performed many corps de ballet roles in works including Stanton Welch's Ladies, John Neumeier’s Yondering, Serenade, The Nutcracker, The Little Humpbacked Horse, Gioconda, and Coppélia, as well as soloist roles in La Esmeralda, Paquita Grand Pas, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and Raymonda.

She continued to delve into the theoretical and artistic intricacies of ballet studying and teaching at the International Ballet Academy in Cary, NC, offering classes in character dance, ballet and pointe technique, and strength and conditioning. Joy is excited to continue her performing career at the Utah Metropolitan Ballet during the 2026-2027 season.
