Charlotte Parry

Charlotte Parry was born and raised in Wilsonville, Oregon. She began her ballet training at 3 years old with June Taylor’s School of Dance (JTSD) and was trained in the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus for the next 15 years. Parry completed all the examination levels through “Advanced 2”, where she earned ARAD status (Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance) for passing the RAD vocational Advanced 2 exam. Parry graduated in 2024 from both JTSD and Northwest Dance Theatre (NWDT), a pre-professional company where she danced for six years. With both JTSD and NWDT, she had the opportunity to perform lead roles such as Sugar Plum, Snow Queen, and Dewdrop in “A Nutcracker Tea”, Gamzatti in “La Bayadere”, The Cheshire Cat in “Alice in Wonderland”, and Dopey in “Snow White.” Parry has attended summer intensives at Oregon Ballet Theatre, Ballet West, Ballet West’s artEmotion Choreographic Workshop, and Sarasota Ballet.

In 2023, Parry was a semi-finalist who represented the USA at the Royal Academy of Dance Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition in London. She was honored to perform an original piece by Valentino Zucchetti, a first soloist and choreographer for the Royal Ballet, at His Majesty’s Royal Theatre. For the past two years, she has been training at the University of Utah, pursuing her BFA in Ballet While at the University of Utah she performed in “Fever Dream” & “Somnus” choreographed by Joshua Whitehead in part of his trilogy, “Sol of the Sun” in collaboration with the the Changwon National University of South Korea, Shades from “La Bayadere”, and the Willis in Giselle. She also had the opportunity to understudy in “Giselle”. Parry also plans to double major with nursing. Parry looks forward to the season with Utah Metropolitan Ballet!
