Juliette McLaughlin
Juliette McLaughlin grew up in Santa Cruz, California, and fell in love with ballet at age six while training at The Studio School of Classical Ballet with Diane Cypher and Linda Locke. She quickly moved through the school’s levels and had the chance to dance Clara in The Nutcracker for two years—a role that sparked her passion for performing. After attending San Francisco Ballet’s summer intensive for several summer’s, Juliette knew she wanted to make ballet her career.
Some of her favorite roles she performed at Santa Cruz Ballet theatre include Giselle in Giselle, Odile in Swan Lake, and the Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. She’s also been lucky to work with inspiring choreographers like Erin Robins, Eva Stone, and Alan Hineline.
The 2024–25 season was Juliette’s first professional season with Utah Metropolitan Ballet, where she performed roles such as the Arabian Pas de Deux in The Nutcracker, Snow White’s Friend in Snow White, and the Dark Angel in Serenade.
When she’s not dancing, Juliette loves being outdoors—whether it’s walking along the beach, hiking local trails, or spending time with family and friends. She’s excited for what’s ahead in her next season with Utah Metropolitan Ballet.
