Charlotte Park
APPRENTICE
Originally from Anaheim, California, Charlotte Park began her early training at the age of four with the Academy of Russian Classical Ballet in Detroit, Michigan. After relocating to Rochester, New York, she began training with the Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education. There she developed a passion for ballet, as well as a desire to pursue a professional career and began competing in national and international competitions.
In 2023, Charlotte moved to Utah and continued her training at Jacqueline's School of Ballet, where she was invited to join Utah Metropolitan Ballet II, under the direction of Heather Gray and Brittnee Squires. She was invited to be a Trainee in 2024 and an Apprentice in 2025 with Utah Metropolitan Ballet, under the artistic direction of Jacqueline Colledge.
Recent full-ride scholarships include opportunities to attend the International Contemporary Ensemble intensive in Amsterdam, as well as intensives at the San Francisco Ballet School during the summers of 2023-2025. In 2024, Charlotte toured Austria and Germany as a member of the Stars of Tomorrow International Young Tanzsommer Festival, where she performed award-winning neoclassical and contemporary choreography with Utah Metropolitan Ballet II. She was invited to compete as a soloist and in ensembles representing Jacqueline’s School of Ballet at YAGP Finals in 2025.
Charlotte loved performing the role of Clara for 3 consecutive seasons of The Nutcracker, one with Rochester City Ballet and two with Utah Metropolitan Ballet. Recent works she has enjoyed performing include Heather Gray’s Cortex, Alan Hineline’s Sans Souci and Balanchine’s Serenade.
