Shelbi Campbell began her dance training in Lindon, Utah under the direction of Jacqueline Colledge, Heather Gray and Britnee Squires at Jacqueline’s School of Ballet. Before the age of three Shelbi fell in love with ballet when she saw her older sister perform the role of Clara in Nutcracker. At the age of twelve Shelbi became apart of Utah Regional Ballet II. She gained experience through classes, rehearsals, Regional Dance America, Youth America Grand Prix and summer intensives. Shelbi attended and was awarded scholarships to many summer intensives including, National Choreography Intensive, International Ballet Competition Intensive and Jacqueline’s School of Ballet summer intensive. In the summer of 2015 Shelbi had the opportunity to perform and tour in Europe for Young Tanzommer. Her favorite ballets are Legend of Timpanogos and Romeo and Juliet. Her favorite role she has performed is the Arabian Queen in Nutcracker. Shelbi is currently attending school at Utah Valley University on a Dance scholarship. She will receive her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in 2021. This is Shelbi’s fourth year performing with Utah Metropolitan Ballet and it is her love and passion.
