Ryan Hatch is from Lehi, Utah. He recently graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance from Brigham Young University. While attending BYU, he danced on full scholarship with BYU Theatre Ballet for 5 years and served as the student president for 3 years. Throughout his college career, he has been the male soloist in Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations (2017), George Balanchine’s Valse-Fantaisie (2018), Martha Graham’s Dark Meadows (2019), Gerald Arpino’s Reflections (2019, 2020), and George Balanchine’s Walpurgisnacht Ballet (2019). He was also chosen to be in the Honors Class at Regional Dance America National Festival (2017) and Regional Dance America Pacific Festival (2018). He had the opportunity to perform in George Balanchine’s Serenade with Utah Metropolitan Ballet in November 2019. Ryan is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and attended the CPYB Teacher Training in August 2019. Ryan is very excited to be dancing with Utah Metropolitan Ballet this season!
