Brandon McGuirk is originally from Seekonk, Massachusetts. He began his dance training with Festival Ballet Providence in Rhode Island. He joined their Junior Company in 2011 for 3 years where he worked with the professional company as a corp member in their production of
The Sleeping Beauty and was grateful to share the stage with dancers from ABT and New York City Ballet in FBP’s Together we Dance. In 2014, He was accepted as a trainee with the Joffrey Ballet School (New York City) under full scholarship dancing Hornpipe, Nutcracker Prince, Le Corsaire Grand Pas, Flames of Paris Grand Pas, and soloist in Esmerelda Pas de Fleurs. In 2015, he worked with the Berkshire Choreography Project and was also a finalist in the Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition. He also worked with EMIA and Alvin Ailey choreographer Frederick Earl Mosley performing in Groove, Journey, Snow and Roses, Grounded, Wild and Free, and Earl Mosley’s Discover Dance. In 2017, he joined the Roxey Ballet Company performing the roles of Snow King and Russian Soloist in The Nutcracker, Don Jose in Carmen, and in Carmina Burana with a live orchestra and choir.
